Compatible game version: 1.51
The mod also works on older versions, but may have issues or errors in the game log.

This mod adds police cars with matching liveries to almost every city in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Texas.
The cars have various wheel, rambar/pushbar and lightbar combinations .
The mod removes the original police cars from the states made by SCS and replaces them with the cars in this mod, however the SCS Taurus with the open door can appear in the random event accident.

For owners of Special Transport DLC:
Front escort vehicles can only be Ford F150 or Dodge Ram.

The mod replaces the parked US Border Patrol cars on the US side of the border with US CBP Field Operations cars (Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer '13 and '16, Dodge Charger '12 and '15).

On the other side of the border (Canada) the original CBSA Charger had been replaced with CBSA Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer '13, Dodge Charger '12 and '15.
The original RCMP/GRC vehicles had also been replaced with RCMP/GRC Ford Crown, Ford Taurus, Ford Explorer '16, Dodge Charger '06, Chevrolet Tahoe '15.

All the necessary cars are included in the main mod, therefore Municipal Police Traffic Pack is required for this mod.

I agree with L'araldo ucraino.
The game has been stuttering a bit since I installed the mod.
If this can be fixed, that would be great.

PSA: This mod is great in terms of realism. Adds to immersion. But this unfortunately comes with a large caveat: it creates a micro stutter ever 10-15 seconds or so. Am playing with a top-of-the-range gaming PC including an RTX 5090 and 64 GB of RAM, and a CPU @ 5.3 GHz. Have totally smooth gameplay on vanilla at maxed out settings in 4K, and even with various other mods - e.g. brutal weather and AI realistic traffic packs. But as soon as I enable this mod - even with traffic mods disabled - I get stutter. As soon as mod is enabled, I get micro stutter every 10-15 seconds. This mod is the culprit. After weeks of unsuccessful experimentation with various graphics settings it was a one year old post on Reddit that made me aware that this mod could be the stutter culprit.

Too ba you guys can't take a second to read the description as well as a few comments. This mod hasn't been updated since Oct. 6 2024.

It's true that it makes my game stutter every 10 seconds or so, down to 5fps.

⚠️ GUYS READ THE COMMENTS ⚠️

This mod has not been updated since OCT. 6th 2024 which was for ATS version 1.51 for reason(s) unknown. It was a good mod while it lasted, now it's in dire need of TLC which no one can give without the author's consent.

For now this mod appears to be DEAD in the water, ABANDONED like a misfit stepchild unfortunately.
