IMPORTANT NOTE: Since BLACK SNOW is such a heavily modified version of the base game it can't be just played in GMod, custom NPC models won't work, the map bs_ext can't really be explored because you can't shove the shelf away from you in the beginning and the monster is just a "invisible" antlion. Also most props are reskinned from Portal which looks weird. I just used this to walk around in VR and sink in the atmosphere (was still scared af).

To play bs_ext type into your console and press W when you spawned. (Thanks to Wolƒe Strider Shoσter for figuring this out!)
