Suppressed CheyTac M200 Intervention from CoD: Modern Warfare 2. An American high-caliber sniper rifle, which can also be used in anti-materiel role. It fires propriertary Cheyenne Tactical ammunition that sits between .50 BMG and .338 Lapua. The rifle can be used for sniping enemy personnel as far as two kilometers with almost unmatched precision and has set quite a few impressive records. Weighting only around 15 kilograms, it can also be easily used for the modern warfare technique known as Three Sixty Quebec Sierra, which is what the rifle is mostly famous for.

Replaces the "Magnum Sniper Rifle" on original MW2 animations.

After a not-really-a-sniper-rifle mod, I sat and thought on how am I supposed to sensibly replace the two bolt-action sniper rifles when MW2 only has one. There is a normal Intervention for the Scout... and by changing the script I can get any semi-auto sniper to replace the AWP. But that would lead me to some balancing headaches, so I needed a slightly different Intervention. An ACOG - stupid. A heartbeat sensor - meh. A different scope from the WA2000/Barrett - the Intervention is mostly known for the scope nobody actually used, so that's a no. It took me a while to realize that attaching a suppressor makes a big difference, at least in the sound department. And to spicen things up, I have added a small backup reflex sight on top of the scope.

You see, these aren't my textures, models, animations, or sounds, as I took them somewhere else. But I put plenty of effort editing it all together, be it making a proper black skin, making sure the sound files are of proper length, making sure the animations are of the right speed, and espeically some model editing to make it look pretty. This makes it my intellectual property, and would make me pretty upset if someone stole it (as in reuploaded without proper credits).

What an amazing description. "Three Sixty Quebec Sierra" is fucking peak LMAO. Is it really possible to claim copyright any of this when none of the assets are yours, though?

I can only suggest opening this mod up and replacing the firing sound with a sound of your choice.

I have a "Plutonium" version with ACOG and camo and no suppressor. I might make a couple alternatives, I just didn't want to essentially copy Eazy's original port too literally.

honestly the model is awesome but the silenced sound is very bad, i know it's the original from MW2 but it's way too quiet and boring so i didn't installed it, iff you had the exact same version but without silencer OR with a beefier sound it would have been perfect !

Look, none of my mods approach anything that can be considered hi-poly. Especially videogame asset rips.

Hey eh I need to ask, does this mod uses any high detail polygons (i think that's the right term).
I had some crashing problems with previous mods (the: 'too many indices for index buffer') and need to ask if this one is going to be a problem.
