South Atlantic War - Sneaky Beakies

Following the successful Argentinian occupation of the Falklands Islands and South Georgia, the first steps in the UK military response was to start to gain ground-level intelligence on the occupying forces.
This scenario is playable by the UK side only and re-creates the covert insertion of SBS reconaissance teams by the SSN HMS Conqueror on the night of 18/19 April 1982.

COMMENT: The 6 x SBS actually joined Conqueror at HMNB Faslane. They came heavily equipped for all possible missions (limpit mines to skis). They also embarked several deflated Gemini boats - these would be unloaded through the torpedo loading hatch and inflated on the casing, the submarine would then dive to float the boat off. Not easy in the dark and any kind of swell! They were never deployed from Conqueror, and were transferred by helo to a surface ship (Antrim) after the completion of Op PARAQUET.
