The Alicorn (Lightspeed 1) - Alcubierre Drive Spaceship

描述
Recent talks on the Space Engine discord regarding Space Engine's warp drive made me take a shot into making a Spaceship using the Alcubierre Drive as a baseline for its design.

Its a Cylinder-shaped Command Module, with a Hyperdrive Ring attached to it with a single Pylon, and a Rotating Ring (Not Moving due to Engine Limitations) to fend off negative mass.

Hence the Name: Alicorn (Winged Unicorn)

End result is ok I guess.

Features:
-Alicorn (Lightspeed-1): Public/Default Lightspeed ship. Warp Boost of 4.5
-Pegacorn (Lightspeed-2): Experimental/Prototype Lightspeed ship. Warp Boost of 9 <- Top Secret.

you can fix this by using the ship editer and adding a warp engine

Well, I am having the same problem. I assume an update broke it seeing as it was posted 2020. Sad, really sick design too, hope the creator fixes it!

it doesn't show as having a warp drive for me. am i doing something wrong?

A very nice design indeed. But I seem to be unable to activate its hyperdrive. In fact, my version of the game doesn't seem to reconize its got a hyperdrive at all. What am I doing wrong?
