Halcyon Enterprises "Obelisk" Outpost Ship

The Halcyon "Obelisk" outpost ship is named for its distinctive visual profile resembling ancient obelisks. It is designed to quickly and efficiently establish small, functional outposts. To this end, it has been outfitted with a projector that contains not only the blueprints for repairing the main ship, but also for creating an attached outpost consisting of a small vehicle printer, habitat module, and two defense/connector modules which add a pair of missile turrets. These outpost modules can be jettisoned in the event the Obelisk relocates to another location.

The Obelisk is designed for a crew of three; as a ship, it has accommodations for a pilot and two cryo chambers for additional crew. A pressurized cabin and built-in survival kit are featured to further support the needs of the crew. The habitat module is also designed to support a three-person crew. The connector modules are designed to work with a variety of ground and air vehicles including the Halcyon Mammoth. The small vehicle printer is capable of producing many small vehicles including all of the Halcyon H120 series rovers.

The Obelisk features a large fusion reactor and backup batteries as well as a hydrogen power generation system to provide power in any contingency. An array of hydrogen tanks provides a generous and redundant fuel supply. The fully upgraded refinery and assembler provide the crew with the means of refining materials and fabricating components in the field.
