UI Overhaul Compilation - Essential UI Improvements

This mod bundles some of Rome II's best UI mods into one package to reduce the number of active mods in the Total War Launcher.

The other day I started a new game, and what do I see? Visual bugs like missing arms and grey shields! After some research, I found out that Rome II's graphics seem to behave strangely when too many mods are activated at the same time (about 35).

This meant that crown jewels of modding like Benjins extraordinary AAA Generals could not be enjoyed by me in their true glory. As this is, of course, a simply unacceptable state of affairs, I have tried to reduce the number of mods I have enabled and perhaps bundle them into thematically related mod compilations so that the visual mods can once again function properly.

The UI mods proved most promising for this endeavour, as I had eight of them and was able to reduce my mod count by seven in one go. This compilation is consequently the result of that effort.

The following great UI improvements are included in this compilation, each of which I now consider essential:

• Faction UI Overhaul by Aquilax - Each faction has a different UI theme that corresponds to their primary and secondary colour. Classic.
  
• Faction Party Colours by Benjin - Replaces the boring generic faction party colours with ones specific to each faction. The perfect companion for the faction UI.
  
• Unique Trait Icons by Boicote - This mod gives unique images to all traits in the game. (A really great improvement; so important that it's basically a bug fix).
  
• Agent Action Icons by DeusEx010101 - Agent action icons now match the colour of the attribute icons.
  
• Better Building Icons by DeusEx010101 - The backgrounds of the building icons now accurately represent the type of income they provide. The icons also show some of the bonuses they provide and their public policy implications.
  
• Color List View Icons by DeusEx010101 - The army and agent list view is now colour coded, making it easier to use.
  
• Skip Intro by ✠ M I N O S ✠ - Prevents SEGA and Intel videos from displaying at game startup to get you playing faster. (Updated by myself for compatibility with Rise of the Republic).
  
• High Definition Eventpics by yours truly - Improves the quality of some of the really old event illustrations by replacing them with higher resolution versions by the original artist.
  
• Emperor Edition Icon Tweaks by [AiF] Waffles - Changes some of the icons in the battle UI to make them more readable.
  
• UI Color Fix for the Military Emblems by SilentResident - Matches colours of the army emblems. Re-adapted by me as the original had some minor errors.

• Promotional Loading Images (ROME II) by Benjin - I didn't include it because it would have tripled the file size of the compilation. Get it anyway, because it's great.
  
• NordoPic: 3D Unit Cards - I refrained from including this mod because you may have your own preference for unit cards or even like the vanilla cards, so in that case it wouldn't be a definite UI improvement like this compilation is supposed to be. Personally, I like the 3D unit cards and use them all the time, not least because the mod also has unit cards for units added by mods.

UI mods are generally very compatible with almost everything. Exceptions to this are large overhauls such as DeI that change the UI itself, and may or may not already include parts of the functionality of those mods. However, for a game that is still very close to vanilla, this compilation is one of the quickest ways to increase your enjoyment of the game by a considerable amount.
