MAP OVERVIEW:

If you want to build a place situated in a temperate region with realistic surroundings, this map is for you!

The building styles in the default European theme largely follow those found in Central, Northern and Eastern Europe in countries such as Germany, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Sweden and other nearby nations. (not so much Western Europe or the Mediterranean.)

Following these regions, the map is aimed to emulate some corresponding features such as gentle valleys, clustered woodland and linear fields without hedgerows for example.

Although this map is made with the European theme in mind, theme styles or map features could be amended to mimic other temperate regions in the world, such as parts of North America, Russia as well as smaller regions in South America, Australia and New Zealand.

The map is ideal for those who want to create towns or cities surrounded by farmland rather than in the middle of nowhere...

KEY THINGS TO NOTE WHEN USING THE MAP:

- The default road setting is to drive on the right.
- There are 4 road connections
- There are 4 rail connections
- There are 2 flight connectionsj (with a one lane highway indicating the location of the flight path.)
- There is 1 ship connection (situated at the wider end of the river.)

- medium oil reserves

ASSETS / MODS:

There are no downloaded assets or textures used in this map.

The map will work without any mods, however...

- Unlimited Trees Mod will give you the full map experience of forested areas and road/rail verges.
- Extra Landscaping Tools will allow you to alter the fields as you gradually expand your city.
- 81 Tiles will give you full access to all the areas on the map.

MAP AESTHETICS:

The screenshots taken were captured with the in game temperate option. This map, especially the fields, will look different using other LUT options.
