Emblem Creator

What if you wanted to showcase your art skills and at the same time comfort that sweaty traitor who just tried to destroy the tester by showing him how well you managed to capture his mother's essence? You can't do that with a Lucas Skywalker playermodel that's for sure! Well, fear not as n00bmobile's Emblem Creator is finally here!

Type "!emblem" (without quotes) in chat to open the Emblem Creator, from there click on Edit and New Layer to pick an image and create your first layer! Now go ahead, create whatever sick crap you have in mind.

These can be inputted on the server's console to change some of the default settings, here's all of them:
> Sets how many layers player emblems can have. Requires server restart to apply.
> Whether or not the stuff that appears near the middle of your screen when you look at a player should be drawn by the Emblem Creator. Disable this for gamemodes like Murder where real player names are kept secret (0 to disable, 1 to enable). Requires server restart to apply.

> You can't do that silly, suicides don't count.
> If the player who killed you doesn't have an emblem (or his emblem has no layers) nothing will show up when he kills you or when you look at him.
> Right after changing a ConVar value you must close your server properly, this means you must type "quit" (without quotes) in your server's console. You can close your server forcefully later, but using the command is recommend by Garry's Mod itself.

First you'll need to extract this addon (I don't have it posted on GitHub just yet) since you can't edit a .GMA file. Do that by following whatever instructions you find on Google, then you need to go into the configuration file located inside your newly extracted lua folder. In there you'll find all settings complete with neat comments to guide you through. If you plan on adding more images, here's a few things you need to keep in mind:

1. Don't leave a lot of blank space in your images, this may make manipulating them a bit more clunky than desirable.
   
2. As you might've noticed all of the default images are 512x512, this is the recommended size. Anything less is a tad too small.
   
3. Images must be all white with a transparent background, they also MUST be a .PNG.
   
4. Refrain from removing images since as of now (will update soon, friday probably) if someone creates an emblem with an image that later gets deleted ♥♥♥♥ goes nuts. You can circumvent this by wiping all emblems, just delete everything inside root/data/emblemcreator, but this of course is not very cool so don't add images you plan on deleting later for now!
