ISL - Vicuna-RO 31 Prospector

The Vicuna is a way to move a Large grid ore detector without having to build a large grid rover, in order to find deeper ore, such as Cobalt. This is the first ISL design that uses a sub-grid, and therefore requires some additional assembly.

Advanced Rotor for attaching a large grid rotor head & Ore Detector

To build the detector once the vehicle has been printed, remove the rotor head from the advanced rotor and drop a large grid version on top of it. Then go into the cockpit and "Attach" the new Large grid head (toolbar 2, button 4). If the rotor head is not aligned, take rotor lock off (toolbar 2, button 3), let it turn until it aligns, then lock it again. The Rotor should already have limits and speed set, if the rotor does not re-align when you unlock it, go into the terminal and set a velocity & limit. Now you can place and build the large grid ore detector on top of the rotor head.

All Programmable blocks are turned off in this blueprint.

This vehicle has an empty mass of 15216 kg.

All ships in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston.
