Vaughan City Hall

Vaughan City Hall was built in 2011 to replace the cities old City Hall which was located next to the current site. The building was designed by "KPMB Architects" and was designed to have a "Civic" Square type design with a large open square being surrounded by low rise buildings to give it a "European" feeling. The building itself is composed of 2 sections, the City Hall and the YMCA. The overall plan is to one day include a Chamber of Commerce and a Library on the site though those have yet to be built. The building is Gold LEED certified and features multiple green roofs and a large quantities of natural lighting.
