Vanilla Style North American Commuter Train

描述
Asset info
- Locomotive and cab car running configuration.
- Capacity of 250.
- Slower acceleration and braking.
- Has line coloring. To not display the line colors change the line color to pure white.
  • Locomotive: 1,205 tris, 1024x1024 Texture. (x1)
  • Coach Cab Car: 1,152 tris, 1024x1024 Texture. (x1)
  • Coach Car: 1,004 tris, 1024x1024 Texture. (x4)

A vanilla style North American Intercity train can be found here.

The Catenary Replacer mod or tracks without catenaries are recommended as these vehicles will clip into the overhead wires.

Credit also goes to Colossal Order as I recycled a few of their textures.

While these assets are based on real-world vehicles they are not meant to be exact replicas. If you'd want more realistic North American trains I would highly recommend the trains made by bsquiklehausen.

This is nice train but the LOD needs adjusted on it. I do not have to zoom out a long distance and it blurs out.

Hey, this is great! I've been trying to de-europe my cities without going realistic, so I really like this. Question: Besides the capacity, have any other gameplay elements been changed? Thanks!

The set is based on real rolling stock but not meant to be 100% replicas, because that's not what I'm going for.
The locomotive is based on an F40PH.
And the coaches are based on Bombardier BiLevel Coaches. I had to change the positions on the doors because the vanilla platforms are too high for the original low platform doors.
I originally had the coaches look more true-to-life but they just didn't "fit."
And anyways if you want more realistic train sets just get anything by bsquiklehausen.

It looks good but the only reason i didn't subscribe is because how ugly the carriges looked if they looked like the classic rectangle carriges that most trains have then I would of subscribed.

good job. not very prominent compared to vanilla. Now you can build a vanilla American city))) is a freight train planned ?!
