Legally Distinct Gordon Freeman is here to conduct some SCIENCE, and Gman help anyone who gets in his way. Armed with his trusty crowbar, bullet-resistant SCIENCE suit and gravity... arm, John is all set for a day of intense SCIENCING. Rather than being hunted down by every law enforcement agent and business owner, you instead need to keep an eye out for Crepes and gorillas with a chip on their shoulder. It's... kind of like fighting off the military and aliens. Also he's a skinny nerdlinger but the SCIENCE suit enables him to be an efficient combatant with its... kinetic-enhancing servos. Yeah, let's go with that.

In all seriousness, I just wanted to create a Notgordon that was balanced somewhere between as close to the character and as fun to play as I could get. Ideally I'd have liked to make him aligned with the other scientists but unfortunately that isn't really in the cards with the way the character editor works currently. A water pistol isn't the most fitting piece of equipment for him but it's borderline mandatory for SCIENCE purposes, and this way you also get to wield a SCIENCE GUN. The alternative was having the soldier's quest of blowing up all the generators, and that just isn't as interesting to do. After all, Black Messa is all about the ethically dubious science experiments.

Optional tweak: enable the Infinite Melee Durability mutator.
