The Glider Suit[ark.fandom.com] and the Zip-Line Motor[ark.fandom.com] are two cool skin like items introduced in the Aberration DLC[ark.fandom.com]. Their functionalities are extremely useful for PvP, but their usage requirements (equipped gear, fuel or durability penalty) cause them to be unreliable for continued combat.





The vision for this mod is centered around simplifying the usage of some of Aberration item’s mechanics in a way that makes them more predictable and reliable for usage in combat. Namely, the durability penalty on the Glider Suit and the fuel requirement on the Zip-Line Motor.

⦿ The Glider Suit is item that can be activated and is no longer attached to a piece of chest armor.

⦿ The Glider Suit has quality rating and durability stat.

⦿ The Glider Suit works the same way, but the durability penalty for taking damage is now applied to its own durability stat.

⦿ The Glider Suit trails will take the color of the metal bracing.

⦿ The coloring regions on the Glider Suit have been fixed.

⦿ The Zip-Line Motor is item that can be activated and is no longer attached to a piece of leg armor.

⦿ The Zip-Line Motor has quality rating and durability stat.

⦿ The Zip-Line Motor works the same way but consumes durability instead of Gasoline[ark.fandom.com].

⦿ Gasoline was integrated in the the Zip-Line Motor’s crafting and repairing costs.

⦿ The Zip-Line Motor can be painted in two distinct regions.





⦾ Major rework of the Pliers[ark.fandom.com] so that crafting materials can be permanently buffered inside the item (without weight penalty) and the Pliers can be used to repair any piece of armor or weapon, as long as enough materials are buffered.
