The Laserblade
Not balanced for survival usage!
A very short range weapon for mounting on ships and mechs. Complete with on/off and looping sounds.

this mod is awesome but I wish there was a chainsaw mod for small grid so I could make a mech with something like the Grindblade from Armored Core Verdict Day

Curious question, do you think it would be possible to make a longer blade? I'm unfamiliar with space engineers modding, but that would be pretty cool.

I have an idea how you could do a laser edge ECQB (Extremely Close Quarters Combat). If you used something similar to the modular thruster model as the emitters and replace the thruster flame with a 1 block "energy edge". I think that should be about four blocks, cube, slope, corner, and inverse corner.

Hope this idea helps and that I'll not asking too much.
