Although this mod can still be used, it is deprecated and it's functionality can be found in and it expanded upon in Chemical Curiosities by Squirrelly





Welcome to Arcane Alchemy!
This mod adds new potions and alchemic reactions and hopefully more alchemy related stuff in the future!
We hope you have fun with this mod

This mod is a collection of potions and other alchemy related stuff!

Currently this mod adds:
  • 38 Materials
  • 40 Reactions
  • 13 New magical liquids
  • 12 New status effects
  • 2 Alchemical curiosities



Arborium
This liquid turns anything into wood, making it easy to get through walls made of solid materials!



Dark Matter
This liquid makes any living creature that touches it collapse in on themselves!



Stop Hitting Yourself
This liquid makes you grow a extra limb which is not happy to be attached to you!



Hungry Slime
This liquid decomposes bodies and other things that aren't bolted to the ground! It loves to snack on humans too!



Repultium
This potion takes social distancing to the next level, repelling anyone that gets near it.



Static Charge
This liquid statically charges anyone that touches it, be careful because the charge lingers and you will spark anything that is flammable.



A meager offering
Creatures dowsed in this liquid will turn nearby objects, gasses and liquids into rice.



Love
love potion spawns a cloud that rains more love down on you, unfortunately for you love is highly flamable



Icy Inferno
Creatures dowsed in this potion will cause nearby fire to burn into freezing vapour.



Pandorium
This liquid shoots out random spells from a limited list as it decays.



Unstable Pandorium
This liquid shoots out completely random spells as it decays.



Pop Rocks
This liquid pops into rocks.

@JCGemX You can make Base Potion, it is created by most potions coming into contact with lava

To add to what Delf is saying, I tried, but as far as I know you can't make the "Base Potion" with Chemical Curiosities, (it doesn't add it as a liquid or a flask, I know this because of Cheatui)

I am bamboozled on where bloomium comes from. I cannot find it from google but somehow I have generated bloomium which transforms surcafes into bloomium material which grows grass and fungus. It spreads like mad and it is flammable. In fungal caverns there is an infinite burning (and kinda drilling) fountain of weird fungus that burns burns burns and burns its way through EDR terrain. o_o

Yeah a config for flasks would be nice. Kicked a flask of cloning solution and then my game slowly approached 0 fps

i just want 2 things to this mod.

1. make it more tied to the game play as now all this mod feels like it adds is it's own little thing that only does things in it's own environment, basically, add more mixing with already existing liquids and materials.

elements like mixing material A with water and that turns into material B, and if there is blood under the water and when material B touches the blood it turns into material C.

not necessarily with blood and water but something like this with already existing materials would make this mod feel more connected.

and

2. explain what catalyst does.

I'd love for there to be a perk that makes you 'friends' with hungry slime. Maybe dropping a bottle of it or making you bleed it so it's eating up enemies as you go.

is it possible to make the different flasks togglable because at the moment i keep getting nuked and giga-black holed

also i don't what to get supernova'd randomly since that seems to keep happening in my god runs

also i think some people would like to disable Unstable Pandorium since it is very dangerous
