Ortigueira, Spain

This map is based on the topography of Ortigueira, Spain. This is the first map I create, and the usable land to build is not much. According to the real Ortigueira, located in the north of Spain you are able to build little villages connected to some industries around the map.

*VANILLA MAP*

The map has:

- First tile located in the top left corner, provided with road and water connections.

- Road connections on the upper part, so you should build towards the ocean.

- Train lines, to export goods and move people around.

- Boat routes, which can be connected once you reach the ocean.

- Air routes, if you want to connect your city by air.

- As you can see most of the resources are outside the 25 square grid. I place the resources there for beautification reasons, trying to maintain the map VANILLA with some colour effects. In the base-game 25 tiles there are still resources if you want to process them.

- There are less than 50.000 trees placed, so by default you should be able to place up to 200.000 more. Also this characteristic allows the game to be faster.
