Enter the Gauntlosseum - Episode 5

"Welcome Contestants! We're on track for our mid-season special, so consider this a preshow for the spectacle next week! I expect you all to give your best in preparation for that, so play your hardest and sneakiest for all the folks at home!

Today's episode will take place in a medium-small sized arena, which is geographically just a bit southwest of the arena built for Episode 3, which is why there are those ventilation shafts in the northeast part of the arena. Similarly to Episode 4, there are two Feedboxes, one south of the dropzone, and one far to the east. It was a headache to get the Feedbox connected up to the Robosaru from there, but I digress. Just to the south of that far Feedbox is the Power Plant, which siphons directly from the main power flow that the ventilation shafts are meant to cool. The likelihood of some kind of accident occurring with that the engineers assured me was a "statistical anomaly" and you all are not in any real danger of the power main exploding or something ridiculous. Per the norm, laser turrets have been set up at the entrance to the maintenance shafts.
