Guadalcanal (From Battlefield 1942)

Description:

Guadalcanal is a large sized, Pacific themed, island map where it pits the USMC and Japanese at 2 separate bases, and 2 separate bunkers, with 2 control points in the middle. Filled with lush vegetation, big mountains, and lots of trees, and rocks, the USMC, and the Japanese must utilize the amount of vehicles at their disposal, as well as utilize infantry tactics in order to capture the island.

This isn't 100% like the original map, as I decided to add in some more trees, and rocks, because the original was really empty as far as objects went regarding some areas of the map (though to be fair, BF1942 was made in the early 2000's).

This map uses the custom flag mutator made by Chryses, which can be found here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2078141525 However, you do need Beta Branch in order to use the mutator (as of right now).

Issues with the map:

- Infantry and land vehicles will walk, and drive on slopes where they aren't supposed to go for some reason.
- Due to the amount of awesome action, the frames will dip (though not as bad as Operation Battleaxe on my rig).
- Vehicles will get stuck on sandbags sometimes.
