Cutlass Class Starfighter

The standard ship to ship fighter used by 'The Boneyard Collective' Pirate Clan.

Nicknamed 'Scallywags' by Earth Gov Pilots.

Unusual in design to most starfighter class ships, the Cutlass is armed with a single large Particle Beam Cannon, in favour of the traditional smaller/faster weapons used by most dog-fighting craft. Although it has a long recharge time, it can produce a 2.8 sec continuous beam while firing, which skilled pilots can 'drag' across multiple targets or overload shields on a single target.
Also uncommon is that it is a two-seater, this is due to the Boneyard Collective's policy: One man on duty, one man resting. Allowing them to be constantly active for weeks at a time and always on-the-move from authorities.
