"The Fusil Automatique Léger or commonly known as the FN FAL, a Belgium and the well-known battle rifle used by the NATO countries. The FAL was made by FN Herstal and was designed in 1947-53. It was first entered production in 1953, where it saw widespread adoption for the armed forces of NATO countries. The FAL carries to 20 - 30-round box magazine and fires 7.62x51mm NATO rounds. The FN FAL is made over 90 countries with new different variants and different manufacturers worldwide making other clone copies of the FAL such as the Isarel's IMI Romat, the British's L1A1, the Austrian's StG58 and the Brazillian's IMBEL M964 A1 ParaFAL. The FAL is proven to be the most widely used rifles in history. From the Cold War to the present time, it's widespread usage among worldwide and was given the title 'The right arm of the Free World'."

A request for one of my followers, SpaceCowboy. Here's a black and improved version of the Insurgency: Sandstorm FN FAL. Originally made by ZMG with a new look for the FAL. The body is now dark black and less worn out. Instead of wood, it is now replaced with black furniture, mimicking the Austrian battle rifle, StG 58 based on the Belgian FAL. Normal maps are also updated along with firing sounds. I hope you enjoy the new look for the FAL.
