For 250 years Aegis Inc. was the leading enterprise of the galaxy, personally responsible for arming many races throughout the galaxy, in doing so, Aegis became the most wealthiest mega corp in the galaxy. Little is known of their origin or home system but it is rumored that the founders of Aegis were wiped out by the Xsotan over a hundred years ago. The survivors of this yet unknown race sought vengeance so they started Aegis to achieve that goal.

Now, Aegis is the largest mega corp in the galaxy, their researched technology is used all over the galaxy, by many different races. Yet it's still rare to see Aegis warships out and about from their home system of Katac’rinyawn, which Aegis Headquarters resides.

The known leader of Aegis is only known by his alias, “The Tactician”, or Tac for short. Aegis is so swepped in secrecy that even their own members have never seen his face before nor met him in person. He is known to be very smart at fleet and war tactics tho and has never lost a fight from bandits and pirates that try to attack. Without Aegis the galaxy wouldn't have lasers or plasma weapons at their current stage of tech level, Aegis mega corp made it happen!
