描述
V1.5.2 - Corrected some lang entries, tweaked a little art. Deprecated dockless coffee tables. Added love seat compatible coffee tables. Added more pastel pet futons for the Hideaway Hollow pets!

Come join with the Modbucket modding group in our celebration of Easter with a new festival! There's a maze, egg decorating, loads of furniture, pets, costumes and more!

* Easterfest starts on Spring 6 and ends when you sleep on Spring 9.

* May Eggs give you rewards if you set them on the ground and harvest them like an April Egg.

* Easter Fest has been designed to be interesting for multiple years of your staxel playthrough. Some items require late game crafting materials so you're not expected to finish everything your first year. (It's literally impossible to do without creative mode cheating.)

* See the readme for more details, all the chicken hints and a cheat sheet if you're really having problems.

ModBucket is a modding group started by lydocia. We have varying members who all chip in to bring you awesome new content on a theme. Lydocia (of the Xable's mods), MarkGrant, and SF (of Expanded Furniture, Aka Toketsu Puurin on the discord) have all worked on this mod. Check the readme for more details.

WARNING: This is not a code mod, but it does go places no other staxel mod has ever gone. Always practice proper mod safety: Back up your game before installation. If you install the mod and decide to remove it later for any reason be sure NOT to uninstall it WHILE the festival is happening. (Wait until Spring 11 to be safe.) Verify that all villagers are not wearing Easter clothing before uninstalling the mod. If you have any weirdness at all: please, please, please talk to us on discord. We're very active and will likely respond within hours.

If your town square isn't reverting then you don't have a fountain placed in the town square, you don't have the festival arch placed, you don't have a valid town hall, or any of the above. This can happen with any festival/calendar event, not just easterfest.

Check the sign in front of the town hall, the arch on the town square, or the arch at the festival grounds. if any of them are broken, fix them. If you moved the arches *PUT THEM BACK.* They aren't decorations and you will lose anything contained within their boundaries when a festival happens. If you decided you wanted to steal the fountain you have to replace it with any other fountain.

Once you've made sure all three buildings are registering as valid and working, go sleep for two days, although you might not see a change until the game thinks another festival should affect the town square.

If you placed decorations yourself outside of the festival zone or town square, they won't despawn. Those won't be inside the marker boundaries and the only markers that are changed by festivals are the town square and the festival grounds.

My Easter festival decorations in the center of town will not despawn. It’s been almost a whole year of seasons. Anyone know how to fix it? Windows

Hmm, well I'm not getting the option about eggs at all with the NPC. The only thing I can do is that other quest chain...I just went ahead and went passed it for now. I'll let you know if I still have issues in year 2. The festival is lovely otherwise.

I stole some furniture but did not think to steal the big fountain =_= oh well.

oh. that's a different quest chain entirely. you can get the fishing rod by this point. talk to Riah and finish her first quest. it's quick.

But yes, ultimately Easterfest is not designed to be completed in one year unless you REALLY hustle. And getting all the rewards in year one is not intended. (A tip: steal the egg fountain. you can fish all year at your lesiure.)

I think the problem is that I can't get her her fish, because I have no fishing rod, because I literally just started the game. I guess you designed this to be more of a year 2 thing. >_>

Talk to Alice about everything. Then offer her three normal chicken eggs you either collected from chickens or bought from Leif. then she should give you the decorating workbench and offer the unique egg collecting quest.

I love this, only thing that doesn't work though is I'm not getting the option to turn in the eggs...

I promise it was. I run all my mods (and some of Mark's too) all the time. If you ever have missing mods in staxel, first make sure you're launching it through steam (The game won't know how to find workshop mods if you don't open them via steam unless you've manually installed them.) If you're doing that, just run the mod manager and got to "tools> Content builder" If you uninstalled a mod you'll want "tools> Content builder with validation"
