Renault Logan I

The Renault Logan is a low-cost, sub-compact vehicle designed by Renault specifically for emerging markets. The main production is deployed in Romania at the plant of industrial group Dacia, owned by Renault since 1999. In Russia, the first generation of the car was produced from 2005 to December 2015 at the Avtoframos plant (later Renault Russia) in Moscow, and from 2014 the second generation is produced at the AvtoVAZ plant in Togliatti.

Depending on the market specifics, it is sold under the brands Dacia, Renault and Nissan. In Europe (except Russia) and in Morocco Dacia Logan is sold, assembled in Romania and Morocco. In Russia the car is sold under the Renault brand. Also under the Renault brand is sold in Latin America, India and since September 2009 - in the Ukraine. In Iran it is known as Renault Tondar. In the Mexican market Logan is sold under the name Nissan Aprio. In the Indian market it is sold under the Mahindra Verito brand.
