A higher powered version of the stock game gun with an extended mag.

For those of you with legitimate issues, I apologize for them. If you post actual symptoms of the issue, I will attempt to troubleshoot the error with you. For those idiots that leave comments like "This doesn't work, fix this!", go screw yourselves. I post these mods for mine and my family's use and out of the kindness of my heart I let you have access to them. You are not a customer who payed me and I am not a retail store. After the amount of morons posting stupid $417, my tolerance of idiocy has become a little worn. Again, if you have a legitimate issue, please post the issue you have and I will attempt to get you a fix. If you post something retarded, prepare to get lambasted publicly for being stupid.

@Imperator Phil: Very glad that you had a lot of success. Don't forget that the mod you create needs to be disseminated to any client you plan on having join your server (if you plan on hosting a local game with all weapons doing identical effect on target). By using the sv_consistency 0 command, I believe you can have a multitude of different client-side effects of the same weapon if each client has different weapon mods. Not something I've personally tried, but it might be interesting to try on a LAN game.

@RG_Predator THANK YOU!! I was able to successfully alter quite a few weapons. Now, my magnum fires as fast as the dual pistols, if I click the mouse fast enough. To me, the Magnum should be a superior upgrade for almost everything the standard pistols are capable of with the trade-off of a lower round capacity.

@Imperator Phil: Google Left 4 Dead 2 modding, Left 4 Dead 2 tools, Left 4 Dead 2 modding tools and Left 4 Dead 2 modding tutorials. You should be able to find all you need to teach yourself how to change and build the files for mods and what tools you need to extract the L4D and L4D2 mods. The Left 4 Dead 2 authoring tools are necessary as well, especially if you plan on publishing to Steam Workshop. If you want to change the base rate of fire with no additional changes, I would suggest extracting the core game magnum instead of this one. Mine has a considerable amount of changes beyond just rate of fire. It would be easier with an unmodded magnum than trying to undo all my changes. Good luck with your modding.

I love that this mod increases the rate of fire, but I don't want the damage or the capacity increase. How would I go about implementing these sorts of changes myself?
