A slight re-tuning of blackcats Super Hordes.

Super Hordes kind of slams the spawns out. My mod stretches the spawns out over a slightly longer time in order to prevent a lot of stuttering. It also prevents heavy groups of mobs and makes the horde a contiguous wave, rather than a clump. The end scene gets stretched a lot farther out to add to the tension and really augments the "where the **** is our evac?!"

For those of you with legitimate issues, I apologize for them. If you post actual symptoms of the issue, I will attempt to troubleshoot the error with you. For those idiots that leave comments like "This doesn't work, fix this!", go screw yourselves. I post these mods for mine and my family's use and out of the kindness of my heart I let you have access to them. You are not a customer who payed me and I am not a retail store. After the amount of morons posting stupid $417, my tolerance of idiocy has become a little worn. Again, if you have a legitimate issue, please post the issue you have and I will attempt to get you a fix. If you post something retarded, prepare to get lambasted publicly for being stupid.

The mod doesn't slow down their mobility in any way. It just changes the spawn values. If they are moving slowly, it's probably an engine limitation or a hardware limitation. Keep in mind, this mod is over a decade old. The game is even older than that. In that video it looked like pathing issues. Like the AI was moving too fast in a straight direction, with acceleration curves, and wasn't able to turn properly. Just my thoughts. If you don't like the effects of the mod, turn it off. Frame rates have nothing to do with AI.

Unfortunately, I can second the slower zombies issue. I have a computer very capable of running L4D2 at a solid 144 fps, and even singular zombies seem to angrily shuffle towards me rather than furiously sprint. They're even slow enough to walk away from.

It's probably your computer lagging out. This mod adds a lot more zombies.

yea it lasts a VERY long time it takes so long for the finales to end like no mercy

I just played the final scenario on No Mercy. Moving quickly, it will take about 15 minutes. There will be 3 tanks before the chopper comes. It played fine for me. It is an intentionally long, drawn out ending aimed at amping up the "Where the hell is the chopper!!??" effect.

What mods are you running and at what resolution? I'd like to see if I can replicate the issue. Offhand, it sounds like one or more of your party may be running a trainer, possibly for ammo and it's locking the timer.

I just played the last stage of Dead Center with and without this mod and both runs took approx. 5 min. I did the exact same path and took the exact same actions on both runs with the exception of smoking Ellis on the run without Extended Hordes on. I got 68 kills with Extended Hordes on and 63 kills with it off. I had to shoot a little more on the second run because Ellis got dead. Maybe due to the AI pathing they possibly jam up at the spawn points. Personally, I didn't see an issue on the last stage.

Hi, me and my mates love this mod yet have had an issue for years on several campaigns in which at the finale , the waves are endless no matter how we let it run and no rescue ever arrives , after the radio has been activated. Glitches out so that it's just a hopeless last stand and we have to exit the game. Doesn't seem to do this on every campaign from memory.

Any solutions for this existing?
