Defense Platform

Solid Defense Platform which can scale easily. Framework is available to allow you to configure the platform how you wish. It supports 20 turrets and can launch entire wings of fighters at a time.

This defense ring goes really well with the Orb Station in the collection with this. I built the orb station to use a resource depot. I placed it inside the defense platform (built as a ship with no engines/thrusters) in the pictures seen above. You can set the "Defense Platform" to perform a salvage/refine ores loop and it will keep your sector clear without having to manage the cargo yourself. Best used with salvage fighters.
