Patched version for Tropical Experience collection.

♡ Drop a like and add the mod into your favourite!


You are required to disable the original mod before using this mod.
This mod supplements "Tropical Experience", thus some of the original functions are disabled for the compatibility purpose.
  • No lamp skin configurable
  • No minimap icon configurable
However, I add a configurable for you to unlock Lamp Post without obtaining "key to city".

There are two same config name string, "recipe", in the file modinfo.lua, which makes some conflict. The file modmain.lua is also.
Although have changed these codes, I still can't find the recipe under the light tab.
There's my theory: "Tropical Experience" add "city_lamp" recipe after your mod added it. So your recipe will be overwrited.
Just my suggestions. Maybe it can help you or not.:steammocking:

And actually this mod just crashed my game. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I went ahead and just spawned some lamps in my base just cuz I'm tired of always having to deal with the fire pit every night. That was early in the day, but when it became evening it crashed out on me. So not sure what happened there.

I cannot for the life of me find this recipe. I have the alchemy machine and looked in the light or structures tabs. I toggled the configuration for "Unlock Recipe" both on and off (as I have not been to Hamlet just yet and therefore do not have the Key to the City), and still nothing.

@McGibblers if you wanna unlock the recipe without "key to city", you need to change mod config first. Default is OFF, you gotta turn it on.

Still cannot find the lamp... its under the light tab right? Do i have to change any settings to find it? I have tech 2 ready
