Chicago burlington & Quincy

The Burlington Route, formally known as the Chicago,Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest of the United States. The company merged with Northern Pacific and Great Northern Railroad to form the Burlington Northern Railroad.


About this asset

Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.
imported with a prototype mod to reduce the texture compression in game so the file size is large

Hey Eva & Astro - I wanted to check with you both, as I'd like to do a repaint of this for personal use only (ie, not to be shared / reuploaded). I'm trying to approximate a Southern Ps-4 to run on my transition-era digital model railroad - just wanted to see if that was okay by you both. (I hope bsquik would vouch for me not being a jerk with a couple edits I've been working on of some of his assets.)

If you're willing, any help you could offer mapping what sections of the texture map to the model, that would be lovely as well! Either way, thanks for making this lovely asset - definitely helps bring the game alive with realism!
