British Rail Class 322 - Stansted Express Livery

描述
In 1987 British Rail (BR) was extending electrification north from London Liverpool Street towards Cambridge. Included in this plan was the construction of new branch line, diverging from the main line at Stansted Mountfitchet, to serve the newly built Stansted Airport, which opened in 1991. BR decided to build a dedicated fleet of units to work a new service called Stansted Express.

To reduce costs the Class 322 units were built to the same basic design as the successful Class 321 units

No surprise then that this is a 321 reskin

Flaming heck.I used to drive these in the mid 90s. 484 always had a bent cab inside after it was involved in a fatality. Sadly the fleet wasn't maintained well at Ilford.Used to lose all the flags in the PMOS and have to trip them back in.
