Notes mod

This mod needs mFramework in order to work, have custom actions and persist data. Add the mod Id '1942750114' before the Notes mod id to make sure the scripts are loaded properly.

This notes mod is an actual feature to write and read notes on paper items.

• Three 100% custom made models, an Amalgamated notebook model, an empty and old page, and a page with a written note in it.
  
• Custom UI for the notes feature.
  
• The only lootable item is the Amalgamated notebook, the old page is obtained by ripping off a page from the notebook, and the written note comes after writting a note in the empty old page.
  
• You can store the notes in your inventory or storage and the messages will persist through restarts.
  
• Every Amalgamated notebook has a random amount of pages, when you rip off all the pages the notebook dissapears, you can count them on to know how many pages it has.
  
• The written notes can be destroyed at any moment.
  
• When writting a note you can decide if the note can be editable or not.
  
• All the functions can be executed from inventory.

A server owner can easily see which player wrote a note or last edited one to monitor any misuse of it.
You need to check for a file called SCAAMNotesCollection located in the folder:


Open the file with any text editor then make a search for the message, next to the message you're gonna be able to see LastWritterSteamId and LastWritter to check the steam Id and player name respectively. Have in mind the players can change their name so it may not be a reliable way to identify a player, always use their steam Id to be 100% sure.

To enable this mod on your server add '1942750114' then '2047322307' to your steam_ugc in the hosting.cfg like:

steam_ugc=1942750114,2047322307

If you are running multiple mods make sure to add a comma after each modID. Example:

steam_ugc=workshopid1,1942750114,2047322307,workshopid4
