Simonov PTRS from Call of Duty: World at War

The Soviet Union adopted two anti-tank rifles for their infantry to be able to counter enemy armor when artillery or other support is not available. The single-shot rifle was designed by the famous designer Vasiliy Degtyaryov, while the semi-automatic one is the brainchild of Sergey Simonov. The latter later scaled his creation down a bit to create a short-lived carbine which nevertheless lived on to become a popular civilian rifle.


I had this in my mind for quite a while. To make it more realistic than it was ever depicted since the very first CoD, I took the bipod model from the M1919, and the front sight from the Mosin-Nagant. Naturally, the scope is removed because this is not how an anti-tank rifle is supposed to be used.
