I am planning more Pittsburgh based assets for the future!

About Beto's:
Since the early 1950s, Beto's Pizza and Restaurant has been serving up goodness like no one else. To begin with, we sell pizza by the square cut, not the whole pie. Each piece comes fully cooked with bubbling sauce and cheese, and then topped with ingredients of your choosing. We add fresh cheese and other toppings at room temperature and then let the hot cut do the rest of the cooking.

Why? This is because cheese - that all-important pizza ingredient - loses 30 percent of its flavor when cooked in an oven; do it our way and it just tastes better. Try us and find out why we go through some 500 to 600 pounds of provolone every day!

Shut the front door. First time I searched in the workshop for pizza and the first building to show up was Beto's. Man I love that place! Banging unique pizza.

I used to live a couple blocks up behind Beto's in Beechview years ago. I'd stop there and get two cuts after work. That's like 4 lbs of cheese. ha

Thanks to all for the comments! I have made a few small changes to optimize the colors and textures of the asset (texture is significantly smaller now) as I've learned more since initially posting. New pictures are posted!
