MX-100 Midget Scout Submarine


The MX100 is a modernised X-class Scout Submarine, capable of high speed, long range, automated underwater travel.

Stats:
  • 100+ Knot top speed at a range of over 200Km.
  • Length 15.25m (50ft) x Height 3m (9.8ft) x Width 4.75m (15.5ft).

    Features:
    • Virtual cockpit with high and low level viewpoints, Multi function main screen for camera, navigation, Radar & Sonar systems.
    • Automated collision avoidance systems that can stop the submarine prior to collision and alter course when in auto pilot.
    • Static and dynamic depth hold system able to maintain depth and distance from sea bed.
    • Radio system with auto scan feature.
    • Flare launch system.
    • Auto ballast and manual trim system (not required to dive or surface)

    Notes:
    On spawn the sub will drain ballast to life the hatch out of the water, takes around 15 seconds.
    Some notes included on the notice panel in the cockpit;
    Startup - System power key, cabin lights above operators head. Depth Hold recommended.
    Anti Collision avoidance with autopilot is best just below the surface(-5 to -10). It will do its best to navigate around any obstacles but is simple, turn off for full control in tight or extreme cases.
    Filling ballast helps with performance, both ballast and airlock fail to empty past 100m
    Auto backup battery will engage under 20% capacity and restart engine if off.

I LOVE this, the battery recharges on my end so it's awesome. it's a sub that's ACTAULLY fast! XD

runs out of battery no matter what. it doesent charge. am i doinng this wrong?

This may be my favourite sub on the whole workshop! It is so responsive and fast underwater, and it reminds me a lot of the sea breachers when I pitch up and jump out of the water. Great job on this one!
