Markus Kruber (legendary hero for Reikland)

描述
Sir Kruber, ha ha ha!
The charismatic Mercenary Markus Kruber from the Vermintide games is now available as a legendary hero for the Reikland. He can be recruited in the Red Moon Inn, the Landmark in Ubersreik and has his own, custom skill tree. He is immortal by default but once you disband him you won't get him back. Not save game compatible.

Careers
By changing his mount in campaign or custom battle, you can choose one of the 3 careers from Vermintide 2. These come with 2 abilities each that are only available for the respective career. I tried to represent the Vermintide 2 counterparts of the careers and their abilities as well as I could.

Mercenary
  • Starting career
  • Morale Boost: AOE morale and damage resistance buff
  • Paced Strikes: buffs Kruber’s melee damage and splash attack power
  • Focused on anti-large with halberd variant.
  • Focused on anti-infantry with greatsword variant

Huntsman
  • Available at rank 5
  • Hunter’s Prowl: Kruber becomes unspottable for few moments
  • Waste Not, Want Not: Refills Ammunition
  • Focused on ranged attacks, avoiding melee
  • Handgun variant: direct fire arc, ap missiles
  • Longbow variant: 360° fire arc, bonus vs large units

Foot Knight
  • Available at rank 10
  • Valiant Charge: breath attack
  • Protective Presence: AOE melee defence and damage resistance buff
  • Focused on melee defense and armour

Grail Knight
  • Available through the Foot Knight's 6th skill
  • Blessed Blade: Direct Damage to a nearby single entity, causing a holy explosion around the target
  • The Lady's Favour: Passive buffs that get triggered once the Grail Knight has been in combat for a certain amount of time
  • balanced melee expert as dismounted variant
  • Focused on mobility and anti-infantry as mounted variant

I know exactly what you mean dude. I stopped modding myself, on a few games, due to lack of motivation. I'll see if I can find out how to do it and let you know. That's if I can be arsed haha

@Mortarch of Blood I know there is demand for other factions and it might be possible to put it all into one mod via scripting or the mod configuration tool I guess. But I have no clue how to write scripts and I don't really have any time (or enough motivation honestly) at the moment for modding or learning how to script.

He looks flippin' amazing mate, great job!

Would it be possible to have him available to player when playing an Order faction? Like another version of course. I was just thinking as he's a merc, it would make sense to find him out and about in other lands. I'd love him to play in my Southern Realms campaign, but even fighting for the Dawi (gold lure) and Bret, because..you know :P but also the other Empire factions as most people use Mixu's Lords & Unlocker.

The only way I know would be to switch this mod to have another factions info in order to make him playable, which would result in a metric fuck tonne of mods just for the one guy haha
