They’ve started a systematic take-over of abandoned city centers.
If that’s not enough - a large asteroid has been tracked - on an intercept vector, with the planet orbit. Scientists estimate that: as the asteroid approaches the planet’s Roche Limit, tidal forces from the planet will - brake it apart, into several smaller pieces - that: WILL STILL IMPACT the planet.
They say that: “Fortune - favours the brave !”… but, then again… it’s not my butt on the line, there - thou. (lol)
You can use any technology, on the planet – that, you can find.
