@Æ' mit problem First make sure both you and your friend have the mutation installed.

1. Press the red zombie icon in the menu and click "change mutation" to browse mutations.
Then scroll down untill you find J Campaign versus.

2. Press select mutation, then "play with friends" then "create new lobby"

(Remember to change servertype from "Dedicated" to "Local server" otherwise mods wont work and the game will spend a eternity looking for a non existant valve server that also has the mod installed)

Then press create lobby, invite your friends, pick side and enjoy!

normal campaign lobby or mutation lobby? because its a mutation mode

I found out that the most common reason for player slots being deleted seems to be a bug with the game itself if you switch team while riding someone as jockey. (i guess its more common in the HX versions because there is a bigger chance someone is ridden by jockey) So dont worry about it being a problem with your addon.

Still not sure what causes the loadout bug but eh, T posing in dominance is funny.

This mod is still my ideal versus experience and the most addon friendly "solo versus" mod on the workshop.

I think so. I uninstalled everything related to bots, verified the game and typed it in the console just to be sure. I guess when one bug is fixed, its replaced by another.

You dont have to remove the HX modes, even if they arent as polished they can still be fun to mess around with.
Maybe split it into seperate addons or maybe decrease the respawn time for infected in the main mode as that seems to be the main reason why my friends want to play the HX versions.

maybe I should just remove Hard X modes, I barely tested or played those modes.
also are you sure sb_transition changed to 1 after you removed Improved Bots?

I tested without the improved bots addon on H8 and instead got another glitch where the survivor would instead lose all weapons and T pose for everyone else. (the weapon slots disappeared in the HUD)

There was also a fun glitch where bots from both teams would attack me but thats probably a glitch with the game.

All in all, the normal version works almost flawlessly with any mod or campaign where you have to go out of your way to break it, but the H8-16 versions kinda break on their own when playing normally.
Sad since it could balance out all the survivors advantages but its no big deal since the normal version is my favorite and what i think most people use anyways when playing solo or against friends.
