that's an SI issue developers are on hiatus atm

Getting a weird bug relating to the Galactic Council. Mousing over the list of resolutions to propose causes a crash, and I think I've narrowed it down to the politics branch, specifically 'Greater Than Ourselves'. Mousing over everything else in all the other branches when expanded is fine though.

Indeed. There is also the mod "UI Overhaul 1080p plus" which conflicts in the factions screen. Maybe you can take a look at that one?

machine empires are not implemented in SI yet so yes thats the right approach

You can find the conflicting files under:
common/fallen empires/00_fallen_empires.txt
and
00_random_names.txt
map/galaxy/base.txt

I deleted the 00_fallen_empires.txt in the mod to test it. It worked fine then with SI.

The biggest problem is a temporary one: in SI the spawning of a fallen machine empire is blocked; larger galaxies would overwrite that txt-file and reenable them.
The rest is some minor text changes for namehandling. I though had checked that with the older version. Larger Galaxies got an update today - but I guess the "issues" stayed the same.

what kind of conflicts because you chould be able to use it with a larger name list mod

There is a mod, Larger Galaxies, which would fit perfectly to SI. But there are some conflicts. Maybe you can take a look at that mod and create a patch? Thanks :-)
