What is Brutal Combat?

Brutal Combat is a combat style mission. You start by choosing your faction, then select the enemies faction. All factions are available to play as.

The enemy has a limited number of resources, which you can set at the beginning of the game. You can also set your own resources too.

You objective is too exhaust the enemies resources through combat, and then finish off any remaining units.

Once you have selected your factions for combat and set the resource values. You can either dive right in and press "START". Or you can select "Wait, I want to setup", allowing yourself all the time you need to setup a defence. Before selecting "Ok, I'm ready" to begin the battle.

The enemy will call in units based on what the player calls in. The player has all units available to them from the start. Whatever the player calls in the enemy will call in their factions equivalent. So if the player decides to call in snipers so will the enemy. The same goes for all units and vehicles.

Therefore the player controls the general nature of the battle simply by the units they bring into play.

The enemy will try to maintain equal, or slightly greater numbers of respective units based on what the player currently has on the map.

The enemy may also call in additional unit types in certain situations.
For example: Call in a vehicle and the enemy will sport a couple of AT infantry as a counter. There are multiple situations accounted for, but I will let you discover them for yourself.

In the background....
Player and Enemy deaths are tracked throughout the battle. Every five minutes the previous 5 minutes deaths for both factions are compared to each other. If it is determined that your kicking but, the enemy will earn counter airstrike points to use against you. There are 3 types of airstrikes, have fun with that.

The mission can be played as Single Player and as Co-op.

Currently the mission has 6 maps available.

For single player go to "Single" ... "Campaign"... "Select mission", in there its called

For Co-op go to "Battle" and it will appear in "Cooprative", under "BC".

For the Map makers and creative types I have made available a "Make a Map" version of the mission. It consists of the mission template file placed on blank map templates of a variety of sizes.
