2012 HECU Voice Lines

By the way, if anyone who happens to stumble upon this mod knows how to make closed captions mods, and is willing to help me port the subtitles for these guys straight from the 2012 mod, let me know.

someone should make a mod with Michael Tsarouhas (steam version) for the non-gasmask soldiers and Cris Merten for the gasmask soldiers (I know there is one already but that mod is outdated)

These voice lines sound more like the original Half-Life 1 voices.

I personally prefer the new ones but this is nice, but some acting parts feel a bit forced not gonna lie.

It's fine. In fact, you answering my question is more than enough imho, I feared it'd go unanswered, so i'm extremely grateful that you at least answer this question of mine regardless, honestly.

Still though, damn shame that the 2012 HECU voices won't work with Damoc, BS and AS, would've REALLY loved hearing the vastly-superior HECU voices in said BM mods after all.

I've looked into this, and it appears that those developers actually disabled custom content intentionally to avoid conflicts. I'm very sorry, but I don't think I can actually do anything about it.

Is there a way to make this work with the BM Damocles mod? I'm asking since, for some odd reason, this sub-mod isn't applied to Damocles for some odd reason and still retains the shitty non-2012 voices that I dislike. Same thing goes for other BM mods such as Azure Sheep and Blue Shift of course.

Regardless, still works flawlessly even in co-op vanilla-BM, of which i'm IMMENSELY grateful for once again.

No problem. As simple as these voices are, they mean a lot to me and I'm glad to see someone who likes them as much as I do.

Thanks SOOO MUCH for this, i've missed the original 2012 voiceset variation of these guys, this is now a PERMANENT addon for BM to me...
