[DESCRIPTION] - (DAWNGUARD DLC REQUIRED)


This is a simple mod that adds craftable and fireable Flintlock Muskets, Flintlock Pistols, Flintlock Blunderbusses, Musket Balls, and Musket Shot to Skyrim. The Flintlock Musket, Flintlock Pistol, Flintlock Blunderbuss, Musket Balls, and Musket Shot will all be located in the [Iron Slot] at the forge.

[INFORMATION]

[[]] IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING CRASHING I SUGGEST YOU VERIFY THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR GAME CACHE.

[[]] How to Verify your game cache: Steam Library > (Right-click) Skyrim > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

[[]] What that will do is load any Skyrim files that you are missing. (Missing files are very OFTEN the cause of crashing!)... Everyone should do that for every Steam game they own at least once a month so they can have the latest patches / replace lost or corrupted files for any and all games available on Steam!

[[]] If you still experience crashing, the problem may be that this mod is conflicting with another one of your downloaded mods, as I have never experienced the pistols crashing myself even during rapid fire. The pistols are technically staves, so the problem may be conflicting with another one of your downloaded mods that edit staves or possibly kill moves, but this is just a guess.

[[]] This is a fairly simple mod, the musket and blunderbuss will not give you any problems. Some have complained that the pistols have recently started to cause crashing after firing a couple of shots. This may be compatability problem with other mods since I have yet to ever experience it myself. I'm looking into it, keep giving me info.

[[]] The [Flintlock Musket] and [Musket Balls] are 2x the power of a normal [steel crossbow] and [steel bolts].

[[]] The [Flintlock Blunderbuss] and [Musket Shot] are slightly stronger than the Flintlock Musket and Musket Balls. They also have a wider area of effect, but have very short range.

[[]] There was once smoke effect after firing, but many complained that it caused crashing, so it is now removed.

[[]] There was once a muzzleflash after firing the pistol, but if fired in rapid succession the flash caused crashing, so the pistol's muzzleflash was removed.

[[]] The Musket has a range of 1000 meters (Roughly 3200 feet). It is an unrealistically long range for any musket, but I wanted it to have good sniper capabilities.

[[]] The Pistol has a range of 50 meters (Roughly 160 feet). It makes up for its lack of range with its rapid fire capability.

[[]] The Blunderbuss has a range of 25 meters (Roughly 80 feet). It makes up for its range with powerful bursts and wide area of effect.

[[]] The armor mod I'm using in the pictures is called: Witcher 2 Style Heavy Plate (Replacer).
