British Rail 77 Tonne PTA Tipper

The PTA tipplers were introduced between 1975 and 1980 as a high capacity iron ore carrying wagon for the strong steel industry at the time.

- 100mph top speed
- tare of 24.5tn
- carries 20 iron ore or stone
- Available in 4 liveries, first appearing in 1975

@cw_315 I love these models but the cost is making them uneconomical to run. a train with 400 iron ore still makes a small loss with these. is it possible to adjust in the running cost, maybe double the cost of the ingame one rather than triple?

Regarding the double capacity, I've had a look at the .mdl files, you need a second "cargoEntries" under "compartmentList", i.e. one per cargo type. This will change to 20 stone OR 20 iron instead of AND. Hope this helps.

Yeah I had that too. 50% ore and 50% stone but the wagons fill up to 100% of ore [in my case]. Just ignore the other [stone/ore].

They don't have double the capacity? Just both capacities show up at the same time for some reason, it's not either or like other wagons, like my ore train is showing 1520/1520 iron ore and 0/1520 stone...

Can you fix this? It's not exactly urgent though....

These have double the capacity in-game, 40 instead of 20, same with the tank cars, 50 instead of 25
