Greatest Mystery of Life

描述
1,008 Bricks

The all too familiar bowl of strawberry candies. No branding, no logo, no signs of a manufacturer.

It seems like an oddly specific sight, yet it lies upon every grandparent's and every aunt's or uncle's table in the den. This bowl of candy just simply materializes upon reaching the age of 65 to 70, but the time frame is unpredictable. It is too difficult to research just how far back this phenomenon has gone on for, but there is evidence of these candies as far back as the Renaissance Era.

Beware of the mysterious bowl of candies, for it is said that one who consumes them shall see their source sooner than they will realize.

Perhaps it's not the candies, but the bowls that we should be after. Ever notice how some bowls seem to be a lot taller than they should be for how much stuff you can actually have in them? Perhaps there is a series of matter converters turning the air around the bowls into endlessly refilling strawberry candies.

SCP-9283

Object Class: Safe

SCP-9283 is the term used to refer to a mysterious bowl of strawberry candies. SCP-9283 was first discovered in 1983 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It had been caught on camera by a local senior citizen while materializing in their house. MTF Tau-5 "Trash Pandas" was sent in to retrieve the bowl of candy, which was sent to Area-12 in [REDACTED], Georgia. Several D-Class personnel have eaten some of the candies with no adverse effects. Research is ongoing as to what caused the bowl to suddenly materialize.

That depends on your perception of reality, and of the composition of what makes up baked goods.
