I found it quite slow to start, guy on the right has it a lot easier (town where they can buy and sell grain straight to the town and same there's a town with coal). You get a huge initial boost like that.
Haven't tried making a map myself yet so I don't know what can/can't be changed but the 30k bond limit at the start seemed lower than normal. Makes things a bit slower to get going initially.
The rivers look like bombs have gone off in them.
Did enjoy the playing the map.
Some ideas for more balance:
- I noticed that the passenger regeneration rate is quite slow in the big cities. I don't know if this can be customized? In the main quest a new passenger is created within 10s in bigger cities while it was 45s on all cities in your map. I had a hard time to fully load my passenger lines and the start was very hard.
- one more wood somewhere could not be wrong
- there is only one cotton field in the whole map
But again: nice work. I will play it again.
