A bit late to respond, but converting the blank hull to armor is quite easy.
1. select square blank hull blocks
2. hit "select of all this type"
3. select square armor block
4. hit "transform all blocks to this type"
now repeat with all remaining block types in blank hull and armor and you'll have a fully armored ship.

Really nice design but it needs armor. Due to the big wings it has a lot of surface area, making it a big target. This also makes it very difficult to escape if you're surrounded on all sides. I upgraded the entire ship to trinium but it's not nearly enough to survive a trinium belt battle.

I have taken this design and turned it into my flagship. I just wanted to say that i absolutely love this design. Not only is it incredibly beautiful and detailed, the way the sub system blocks are set up is functional and well thought out. Thank you so much for creating this ship!

Of course you made it out of mostly iron, staying true to Minmitar philosophy :)
It's too bad duct tape isn't a material in this game :D
