Daihatsu-class Landing Craft

A large japanese landing boat used from 1937 to 1945, seeing most of it's use in the Pacific Theathre of WW2. The Daihatsu could not only transport soldiers but also supplies, field guns and vehicles, including Type 89 and Type 95 tanks, thanks to a large opening ramp in the front. This ramp inspired the design of the LCP(R), the famous Higgings boat.
