3.0 "Bismarck" Release
Major overhaul of Bundesrat mechanic: Found the Customs Union "Zollverein" to unlock the new diplomatic actions to invite neighbors, making them Zollmembers. Zollmembers are like vassals but do not count towards the diplomatic relations limit, do not pay taxes and you need to invite them into wars.

North German Confederation history
The North German Confederation was the German federal state which existed from July 1867 to December 1870. Although de jure a confederacy of equal states, the Confederation was de facto controlled and led by the largest and most powerful member, Prussia, which exercised its influence to bring about the formation of the German Empire.

North German Confederation’s features include:
  • New formable nation: Form the North German Confederation and unite the Germans.
  • Unique Government System:
    • Begin as Autocracy: Before becoming a true Confederation, you are a regular kingdom with a central government and old craft laws.
    • Found Bundesrat: Once you have proven your hegemony in North Germany, you can form the Bundesrat. When your Bundesrat is intact, you can invite neighbors into your Customs Union to later integrate them
    • Reform into Federation: After completing challenging mission, you will be able reform into a more modern Federal State.
  • Unique missions: Unite North Germany, conquer Prussian lands, defeat Denmark, challenge Austria to found the Early Reich.
  • Unique national ideas: North German ideas focus on religious tolerance, trade and military (see Discussions).
  • Early Märzrevolution: New revolution disaster including unique events and mechanics.
  • Minor features: 5 achievement missions, 80+ flavor events for the North German Confederation and Germans, autonomous Reichstag and voting laws, and more

Would it perhaps be possible to make a small extract of this with just the militarization government reform later in the German Gov Tree?
I wanna do a silly revolutionary militarism build and I would love to combine the two :3

@GrandMasterCaeser I have seen that in some of my playthroughs as well. It's vanilla eu4 behavior and happens if you have negative opinion and aggressive expansion with them. Improving the relations above 0 should fix it.

I have never had that happen in 1444, if you want you can upload your save game on the discord, then can check if there is a bug. Best regards Reloader

Is there a way to prevent all of North Germany to have -200 opinion because they want your provinces in 1444 as BRA?
