A few days ago the political despute over a huge oil reservoir in north-east Norway and north-west-Russia reached its climax: Russian ground troops crossed the border to Norway[en.wikipedia.org] and a few hours later VDV paratroopers landed further inland, almost reaching Oslo in the first hours. NATO forces weren't able to mobilize quick, enough so the Norwegian Army had to fight alone, but after two days of fighting the Russians reached the western coast and Oslo in the south. Now, nine days after the suprise invasion, first British and German forces arrived in Norway to help push back the Russians.



In the province of Vinjesvingen there are two Russian bases: the airfield in the south and an old FOB north-east of Floten. To secure both positions we need to push a wedge into the Russian lines, so that the airfield is cut of from supply shipments and the rest is cut off from air support. To achieve that a BAF squad (your team) has to seize the village of Floten and destroy the Russian ammo depot at the old bus yard. After that your task is to rendevouz with a German KSK team and meet up with the main force after the counter-attack took place.

OPTIONAL TASKS:

Destroy the Russian AA: While no threat to our infantry operations in the area, the Tunguska Anti Air System can seriosly damage our coming advantage. If you have the choice (and needed equipment left over) seize the AA site and destroy the tank.
