John Laurinaitis

After wrestling for years as Johnny Ace, John Laurinaitis retired from the ring in 2000. He worked briefly for WCW before the company was sold to the WWF, and he has worked in talent relations or as a producer with WWF/WWE ever since.

From 2011-2012, Laurinaitis was drawn into WWE storylines, initially as a backstage symbol during CM Punk's rise and later as the General Manager of Raw (and later Smackdown as well).

Despite being a former wrestler, Laurinaitis showed no ability in the ring when called upon, relying mostly on outside interference to help him out.
