John Cena (Thuganomics)

John Cena broke into the WWE during the ruthless aggression era and spent a few months on the roster as a short-tights-wearing babyface. On the Halloween episode of Smackdown in 2002, Cena dresses as Vanilla Ice and freestyle rapped. The following week, Cena kept the look and started working raps into his prematch promos, and the Doctor of Thuganomics was born.

Cena's new gimmick helped him climb up the card. He developed a new finisher, the F-U, during a feud with then-champion Brock Lesnar, who used the F-5. The F-U, of course, was renamed as the Attitude Adjustment as the company transitioned into PG television.
